On the Water Clinic

Greg Fisher of North Sails has agreed to hold a clinic on Snipe racing for us at the Halloween Regatta!! A long time snipe sailor and sail maker, Greg has been concentrating on other classes since North Sails bought out his loft. He is the present J22 World Champion as well as the Thistle National Champion. He was second this year in the Interlake Nationals and the Thistle Midwinters West. He is a past winner in the Lightening North Americans, the Flying Scott North Americans, the Highlander Nationals, the Johnson 18 Nationals, the Y-Flyer Midwinters, the Snipe Don Q – and especially – Halloween Regatta! He was Chair of the One Design Council for US Sailing and the Championship of Champions Committee and a member of the Van Allen Clark Sportsmanship Committee. In addition, he is a great teacher and a role model for us all in the qualities we want in a winner.
The registration fee of $25 will cover all meals Friday for skipper and crew. On-the-water instruction will be from 2 - 5 on Friday, October 23. (There is no problem with coming late if you can't make the entire afternoon.) Greg will be making a video which will be used during the evening session to be held in the clubhouse from 8 - 9 pm.
